albertz benda will present Eye by Fiete Stolte (b. 1979, Berlin), an interactive installation that addresses the perception of “the eye as a window to the soul.” Stolte has constructed a photo booth that creates unique portrait, in which the silhouetted outline of the person being photographed appears in his or her pupil. The passport-sized photo can be acquired by participants for USD 100. Each work is printed instantly and signed as a unique work by the artist. Three larger sizes of the ‘portraits’ will be available for purchase through the gallery.
